John Roome A.K.A JAYRDOESART is a London-based digital and mixed media portrait artist who’s work focuses on mental health and identity. Through his work he explores the intersectionality of culture, gender, sexuality and identity. His style is heavily influenced by modern pop art as well as both classical and contemporary portraiture.
Vulnerability is a core theme of his work, using his own experiences to navigate difficult topics and open up a dialogue with his audience, with the goal of bringing people together and helping them find acceptance and understanding.
